Support staff work across the District in our schools and offices. These professionals organize offices, welcome families in school offices and work with students in classrooms, shops, labs, libraries and kitchens.
We recruit support staff to a pool of temporary positions, including on-call and long-term temporary work, on an ongoing basis. We post permanent positions as needed.
Support staff are represented by CUPE Local 3550.

Educational Assistants – Special Needs provide support to students, in Pre-kindergarten to Grade 12, who have developmental delays, emotional and behavioural challenges, autism, learning difficulties, and physical health concerns.
The Educational Assistant will provide support to a student who is visually impaired and students who have exceptional needs.
The Human Resources Data Control Clerk is responsible for processing compensation, benefits, demographic information, taxes, general deductions, contracts and bonus information into the PeopleSoft HR Management System.
The Library Technician will work independently to organize and maintain the operating library collections for three language resource libraries including the Spanish Resource Centre Library.
The Library Technician will work independently to maintain the learning commons and makerspace as well as provide classroom support to students in the French Immersion and English programs.
